When the conference co-chairs first envisioned Tracking Change: e-Merging Methods and Markets, they wanted sessions that would explore new technologies and editorial niches, inspire new approaches to editing and editorial careers, and challenge the status quo of both language and publishing.
Dare we say they’ve done it?
After months of brainstorming topics, seeking out the best speakers, soliciting our members’ expertise, and figuring out how to put it all together into just two days, the conference team has finalized a schedule jam-packed with sessions that truly bring the co-chairs’ vision to life.
With two keynote speakers (Doug Gibson and Terry Fallis), a bonus speaker at the reception (George Elliot Clarke), five streams, eight session blocks, and additional lunch ‘n’ learn sessions — plus, of course, the AGM and the banquet — it’s going to be a full two days. In order to accommodate, we’re starting each day a little earlier (and ending a little later on the Sunday) than we have in the past. However, there’ll be plenty of coffee breaks to help keep you going!
Of course, we also have the pay-as-you-go dinner Thursday evening and pre-conference seminars from the Toronto branch on Friday.
The early bird deadline for registration is April 11. Don’t miss your chance to save big on this full slate of professional development!
